About us

The unbridled joy on the faces of a few street children kicking a broken bucket around a slushy ground in an impromptu game of football, blissfully unaware of the pelting rain in the midst of a sudden rainstorm, prompted the founding of our organization; SlumSoccer. The ‘beautiful game’ is a unique and yet, a perfect vehicle that transcends race, religion, language and gender to bring about a change in the lives of street dwellers. To equip the underprivileged to deal with and emerge from the disadvantages riding on the back of their homelessness, we use the medium of football. Our Vision

The ultimate aim of Slum Soccer is to use football as a tool in order to reach out to people from disadvantaged areas, helping improve society whilst empowering individuals.

Our Mission

By 2025 we intend to expand to 20 states from our current 14 states reaching out to a total of 50,000 participants on a daily basis through more than 1,500 sports leaders who are themselves part of the underserved communities.
